Visiting Fellowship Scheme
The Leicester Institute for Advanced Studies Fellowship programme enables our researchers to build and nurture interdisciplinary collaborations with scholars from the UK and beyond. There is currently an alumni list of 32 fellows from over 20 countries. Please get in contact lias@le.ac.uk to collaborate with the Fellowship Alumni Network.
LIAS Archive and Special Collections Fellowship
This Fellowship scheme aims to foster the use of the Library’s Archives and/or Special Collections to create new or bolster existing interdisciplinary research across the University.
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Archives and Special Collections include rare books, medieval manuscripts, archives of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ, literary collections, and the East Midlands Oral History Archive. The collections offer wide-ranging opportunities for collections-based interdisciplinary research.
Self-funded Fellowship
The Leicester Institute for Advanced Studies welcomes self-funded academics working on interdisciplinary research projects. Awards are offered on a case-by-case basis. Fellows have access to desk space, library databases, and university IT accounts. All Fellows are invited to join the Fellow Alumni Network to foster collaboration.
