The Planetary Science group at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ is at the forefront of research into planetary environments, spanning from their magnetospheres, ionospheres, and atmospheres to the conditions of their surfaces. This research requires the development of instrumentation for planetary missions and space telescopes, planetary astronomy using world-leading observatories, and theoretical modelling of the processes shaping conditions throughout our Solar System.
