Niamh is a Senior Clinical Research Manager in the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences. She has worked at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ since 2017 and has over 10 years’ experience in clinical trials, with a strong background in trial management, delivery, and governance. In her current role, Niamh oversees the operational delivery and strategic management of renal and dialysis clinical trials. As Trial Governance Lead for the Leicester Partnership for Kidney Health Research, she supports a diverse and growing portfolio, ensuring high standards of compliance and regulatory oversight. Alongside her core responsibilities, Niamh is an active member of the East Midlands - Leicester South Research Ethics Committee (REC) and serves as a REC Mentor with the Health Research Authority (HRA). She also regularly contributes to academic publishing as a peer reviewer for BMJ Open, BMJ Global Health, and Trials.
