I work as an Associate Professor in the NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre and Diabetes Research Centre at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ. My work spans the translational research pathway and I have been involved in multiple experimental and randomised controlled trials focussed on the prevention and management of chronic disease. My broad research interests lie in the interaction between 24 hour physical behaviours (e.g. sleep, sedentary behaviour and physical activity), ethnicity, pharmacotherapy and health, with a particular focus on type 2 diabetes.
