Profile

I'm a PhD student in the School of Healthcare, and my PhD aims to develop a tool to support people in preventing the development of severe antipsychotic-induced metabolic syndrome in those at high-risk of developing the condition. My research focuses on identifying the behavioural determinants of developing antipsychotic-induced metabolic syndrome using a mixed method approach. Previous experience on research projects includes using a qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews and using interpretative phenomenological analysis.

My research interests include psychology, severe mental illness, behaviour, interventions, qualitative research methods, and reducing healthcare inequalities.
