Profile

I joined the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ from Birmingham City University in February 2024, as a Lecturer in Radiography. I have taught undergraduate students in Diagnostic Radiography and Assistant Practitioners in Higher Apprenticeships since November 2021. I have also taught Apprentices and diploma students on Operating Department Practitioner programmes, as well as Undergraduates in Paramedic Sciences since September 2023.

I specialise in Cross Sectional Anatomy and Pathophysiology, Projectional Radiography, with a clinical background in cardiac and neuro interventional Radiography.

I currently sit on the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ EDI and Technology Committees, working with colleagues in the school of health care to represent, develop and enable student and colleagues’ development and understanding.

I am a HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer, I started my NHS career in 2006 in a Major NHS Trauma and Teaching hospital as an assistant in Physiotherapy and as an assistant in Radiology. I started my Diagnostic Radiography training in 2009 graduating in 2012. My experience includes rotational general radiography duties as a Band 5 radiographer and specialising in Cardiac and Neuro Interventional procedures as a Band 6 Radiographer and Cath Lab Coordinator.
