Leicester passes 5 million readers milestone on The Conversation

Academics from across our University have collectively captured the imagination of over 5 million readers through nearly 250 articles written for  - setting a new milestone for Leicester in delivering expert opinion in response to topical news.

With a growing community of more than 65,500 academics and researchers from 2,298 institutions, The Conversation is encouraging Leicester academics interested in raising their media profile to become an author based on individual research expertise.

Experts are also regularly contributing opinion pieces to the University's  platform, which provides academics and doctoral students with an opportunity to present their independent views on topical news and republishes articles written for The Conversation. Recent highlights have included a number of articles about the policies of Donald Trump and insights into Brexit and the future of the UK.
