Department of Transtemporal Studies closes its doors due to unforeseen circumstances

After many years of studying the future, the Department of Transtemporal Studies has now closed due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.

The Department, which was designed as a light-hearted joke to tie in with Back to the Future Day on 21 October, entertained fans across the globe, including being covered by , the and landing Mike Simpson, its creator from the Marketing Communications Office, a spot on the BBC News channel while fittingly wearing two ties.

However, those still interested in learning about time travel will be pleased to hear that the Department will open its doors again in the year 2045, according to at least one dimension-hopping wizard.
